A Giveaway!

I thought it was about time I offered a giveaway!  I’ve been in blogland a while now and I’m ashamed to say I’ve never done one, so here’s a first for me.  And what to give…?  Well, there’s only one thing it could possibly be!  A circle scarf of course!!!  It’s the one project I’ve been making over and over again and I get so many comments on it here, on flickr and when I wear one!

And here it is:

This one is in King Cole Riot in shades of blue, grey, green and brown.  I thought those were colours that most folks would like if they won it as they aren’t too garish and would match lots of other colours.  I had to remember that not everyone is like me in liking lots and lots of bright colour and pattern.

So what do you have to do for a chance to own this very scarf?  Very little actually.  Just leave a comment on this post by 6pm (GMT/UK time) on Sunday 30th January!  Easy as that.  Make sure I can contact you through your comment (ie fill in the email address box in the comment form) and if you have a blog / website leave me a link so that I can have a look in return.  Please feel free to link to this giveaway on your own website too.  I’m happy to post internationally.

A winner will be picked at random, probably by Captain Caveman (or maybe the random number gadget thingy that I have seen others use) on Sunday evening after the closing time!

Lots of luck xx

Just a comment (I don’t want to enter since I’ve got me own). I love all of the many circle scarves you’ve done and your research on the subject is fascinating! Congratulations on getting the photo of your scarf in the magazine!

I’ve made one and 3/4 scarves in this pattern so far. It’s a really great project for thinner yarn, I think, for giving it a more substantial feel. My niece chose a mix that wasn’t working out very well in a regular pattern, but looks great in the circle scarf.

Thanks for sharing your yarn adventures on your blog.

I was flickr hopping at lunchtime and came across your circle scarves. They’re fab! I thought I’d pop over to your blog and have a look and you’re doing a giveaway! Of one of the scarves!! Awesome! So I’m going to keep my fingers crossed for winning this coz I love the colours and the pattern. But if I don’t win, then I’m going to have to get hold of the pattern and try and make one myself. Although I’m fairly new to crochet so I’m not entirely sure how that’ll work!!
